OK, Bash goes through a lot this season, and we get perfect uneasy eye gazes from Chris Lowell. First, his mother Birdie swings by for a visit. It's a stressful ordeal, but she doesn't dislike Rhonda (Kate Nash) after all and lets Bash know that he now has even more money.
Oh, and he and Rhonda finally consummate their marriage, but the romance tapers off as Bash gets busy with producing. When Rhonda recruits Paul the gigolo to make her husband jealous, everyone ends up in a steamy threesome, which leads Bash to tailspin and grow even more uncomfortable with his sexuality because he enjoyed the encounter. Debbie catches the producer at a vulnerable moment and convinces him to buy a TV network (which she swooped from her boyfriend Tex the rancher). Bash reconciles with Rhonda and drops a bombshell: he wants them to go back to LA and start a family.
