This is my favourite guitar solo from The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, but I'd go so far as to say that it's one of my favourite six-string solos ever. The song itself is about the troubles that accompany love and romance, and it's hard to imagine that it'd pack the same punch without Auerbach's howling solo. It's heavy, ruminative, and the perfect example of how the guitar can sometimes manifest passion far more effectively than words.
