Following a traumatic accident, a man struggles with memory loss, relying on a system of notes he leaves out and reminders from his daughter to slowly reconstruct his life. When he's fed up with this, he sees a doctor who uses an experimental treatment to help him re-experience his lost memories — which reveal a lot of unexpected things about his seemingly average life.
