Music exec Harry has a habit of dating much younger women, but his holiday plans with his latest girlfriend go awry when her mother, Erica, unexpectedly turns up at their family beach house. As Erica struggles with her daughter's relationship, Harry's presence, her ex's remarriage, and her own playwriting career, she winds up in a love triangle herself, between Harry and a younger doctor.
