Geeky Toula has resigned herself to being the family disappointment, unmarried and stuck working in her family's restaurant. After a chance encounter inspires her to reinvent herself, Toula begins taking classes on technology and tourism to improve her family's business and falls in love with Ian, who is perfect in every way except for the fact that he's not Greek, much to her family's horror.
