A Netflix original film, Holidate centres around Sloane (Emma Roberts) and Jackson (Luke Bracey), two single young adults who are sick and tired of having to spend the holidays without a built-in plus-one. Desperate to get her family off her back, Sloane takes a page out of her aunt's (Kristin Chenoweth) book and proposes that they be each other's holidate. The rules are simple: they only speak and see each other around Christmas, and under no circumstances can they have sex — things are to remain strictly platonic. It's a foolproof plan until Jackson sees Sloane in her sexy New Year's Eve number, which only fuels the burning tension between them even more.
