A son's innocent pursuit to find his widowed dad a new wife takes their relationship to new heights and big cities in this emotional cinematic masterpiece directed and co-written by Nora Ephron. After professing his loneliness and feelings on a talk-radio show, Sam (Tom Hanks) receives a letter from a woman on the other side country named Annie (Meg Ryan). In the handwritten note, she mentions hearing him on the radio and expresses an interest in meeting him face to face.
