Season two begins with chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) opening his new restaurant in Paris under the management of one of Savoir's longest and wealthiest clients — and Sylvie's old flame — Antoine Lambert. Despite their never-ending quarrelling, the grand opening is successful — unlike Gabriel's love life.
Gabriel tries to do right by Camille at Emily's request, though he's still head-over-heels in love with Emily. Gabriel has a front seat to Emily and Alfie's relationship throughout the season. When Alfie raises concerns about Gabriel and Emily's history, Gabriel assures there's nothing to worry about (even though they made out in his kitchen not too long before).
When Emily goes to tell Gabriel the news that she plans to stay in Paris in the final episode, she discovers that Gabriel has asked Camille to move in with him, which means they're back together, and Emily's plans are thrown up in the air once again.
