Observe and Report reminds us to never take life too seriously, and perhaps live a little more on the fun side, like the Superbad friends do. At Forest Ridge Mall, head of security Ronnie Barnhardt (Seth Rogen) follows and enforces all the rules a little too much. As head of security, Ronnie is a stickler for rules and doesn't mind taking the fun out of shopping at a mall. When Forest Ridge gets a visit from a flasher, Ronnie takes this as an opportunity to highlight his cop skills and arrest the criminal, all to get into the police academy and win over his crush.
