The members of the five-person boy band are: Aaron T., Tae Young, Robaire, Jesse, and Aaron Z. Robaire is the band's leader who has all the talent. Aaron T. is the lighthearted and funny one, always cracking jokes when things get serious. Tae Young is the youngest member of 4*Town and has a fierce love for animals. Before his days with 4*Town, Jesse wanted to pursue a career in art and enjoys pottery in his free time. Aaron Z. is the most athletic of the bunch and helps to choreograph the band's dances.
On building the characters of 4*Town, "Turning Red" director Domee Shi told Insider, "When we were creating the boy band, it was super fun to just come up with assigning roles for each boy band member… A lot of research went into creating each boy band member's bio and their purpose in the group."
