King joined the cast of this post-apocalyptic drama in its second season playing Dr. Erika Murphy, who runs urgent care in this dangerous new world. Erika is also the Garvey family's neighbour, who serve as the protagonists of the whole saga. King earned a Peabody Award for the second season, and returned as a guest star in the third season.
