Since the beginning, the series has seemed to hint that Will could be gay, and the latest season of "Stranger Things" has only raised more questions about his sexuality since it seems to be hinting Will has a crush on Mike, who is currently dating Eleven. Because of this, fans are wondering whether Will could come out in Vol. 2.
In a May 30 interview with Variety, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will on the show, suggested his character's sexuality will be left up to the "audience's interpretation," however, David Harbour (Hopper) and Finn Wolfhard (Mike) teased we'll definitely find out more about Will's secret crush in the future. "If you've been watching the show, you should know that Will is not interested in El. He's interested in someone else in the group," Harbour said in a May 23 Netflix promo video. "Yeah, you'll see soon," Wolfhard added.
What does that mean for Will in Vol. 2? The Duffer Brothers told Variety in a June 7 interview that Will's "journey and arc is far from finished," but they can't say much without spoiling the rest of season four.
