Based on the 2012 novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio, this heartwarming coming-of-age film tells the story of fifth grader August "Auggie" Pullman (Jacob Tremblay), a boy with facial differences, who begins attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time after being homeschooled all his life. Roberts plays Auggie's mom, Isabel, alongside Nate (Owen Wilson) as the boy's dad.
