Julia Roberts Gets an Edgy Makeover With a New Fringe
Julia Roberts has switched up her signature hairstyle. On 27 March, the "Ticket to Paradise" star debuted a new fringe at the Watches and Wonders Geneva event in Switzerland, where she spoke on a panel as a Chopard brand ambassador. Celebrity hairstylist Serge Normant executed the makeover, giving Roberts an eyelash-grazing fringe that blended into shaggy face-framing layers. The actor hard-launched her haircut on Instagram, posting a photo of herself modelling a Chopard design. "'Wanna Buy a Watch?'" she captioned the picture.
Roberts's fringe is a noticeable departure from the middle parting, medium-length hairstyle that's become her go-to in recent years. Throughout her career, she's mostly alternated between auburn and blonde shades, but Roberts also temporarily dyed her hair light pink for a flamingo Halloween costume in 2018.
It seems the itch for bangs is spreading through Hollywood this month, as many other celebrities have experimented with similar cuts.
