"Eighth Grade" follows Elsie Fisher as Kayla, a middle schooler who's heading into the very last week of eighth grade. The movie captures all the cringe moments of youth, but also the sweet connection between Kayla and her dad and the joys and pains of being on the edge of teenage-dom.
