Shania Twain's ACM Performance With Her Horse | Video

Shania Twain Serenading Her Horse Has Big Social-Distancing Energy

Shania Twain's latest performance featured a cameo from quite the spotlight-stealing backup singer: her horse. While participating in the Academy of Country Music's Our Country special on 5 April, Twain sang acoustic renditions of "Honey, I'm Home" and "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" while hanging with her horse and dog in her Las Vegas stable. Whereas Twain's pup appeared to be very disinterested in the entire affair, her horse was extremely enthralled with the performance, completely ignoring all social-distancing rules to get up close and personal.

Twain wasn't the only musical artist to take part in the Our Country special, which replaced this year's now-rescheduled ACM Awards. Carrie Underwood delivered a (very relatable and timely) performance of "Drinking Alone" from her couch, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani teamed up to sing "Nobody But You" together in Oklahoma, and Sheryl Crow belted out "I Shall Believe" in front of her cosy fireplace. Watch Twain's highly entertaining stable-side performance above to see her horse nuzzle its way into the frame.
