The Nevers: Watch the Trailer for Sky Atlantic's New Drama

Sky Atlantic's New Show, The Nevers, Finally Has a Trailer, and It Looks Intense

Sky Atlantic just released a full-length trailer for its new Victorian drama, The Nevers, and it looks pretty epic if you ask us. Starring Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging's Eleanor Tomlinson, Hot Fuzz star Nick Frost, and Happy Valleys actor James Norton, the six-part series is set in Victorian London and revolves around a group of women who have some very unusual powers.

Sky's official synopsis reads "in the last years of Victoria's reign, London is beset by the 'Touched': people — mostly women — who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities, some charming, some very disturbing. Among them are Amalia True (Laura Donnelly), a mysterious, quick-fisted widow, and Penance Adair (Ann Skelly), a brilliant young inventor. They are the champions of this new underclass, making a home for the Touched, while fighting the forces of . . . well, pretty much all the forces — to make room for those whom history as we know it has no place."

Having watched the chilling trailer, it looks like The Nevers is going to be a very gripping watch, and we can't wait for the show to land on our screens next month. Watch the full trailer for yourself above.

The Nevers is set for release on Sky Atlantic on 17 May.
