After a four-year wait, Tame Impala has officially announced its fourth studio album, The Slow Rush. As if that wasn't news enough, the band has also blessed us with a single off the album titled "It Might Be Time." The Slow Rush will follow 2015's Currents, the album that put frontman Kevin Parker on the map and solidified his standing as the king of psychedelic rock. The album is set to release in 2020, and we're already giddy in anticipation of trippy new bops from the long-haired Aussie.

The announcement of the album came with a short (and mysterious) video posted on Tame Impala's social media showing Parker in a recording studio, with the name and release date featured at the end. Parker also shared the sandy, surrealist album art, which he has seemingly left up to our own interpretation.

Although we haven't gotten a full album in years, Parker hasn't left us hanging — releasing two singles, a few collaborations, and a B-side to Currents and headlining Coachella. Watch the album announcement and listen to "It Might Be Time" ahead!
