Taylor Swift's Acoustic Version of "The Man" Might Be Better Than the Original
Taylor Swift didn't give us a theatric music video for "The Man" like we hoped she would, but she is giving us the next best thing. On Tuesday, the 30-year-old singer shared a live performance of the song at her 2019 City of Lover concert in Paris. The stripped-down performance features Swift wearing black from head to toe as she strums on her guitar in front of hundreds of fans.
In true Taylor Swift fashion, the singer plays up the crowd as she accentuates the lyrics about sexism in the industry. At one point in the performance, she stops singing entirely as the crowd erupts in applause. Honestly, the acoustic version just might top the original. Watch the fun performance above.
