“The Bold Type” Returns to the UK for Season 5
"The Bold Type" Season 5 Has Finally Landed in the UK

The Scarlet Magazine girls are back! "The Bold Type" has finally returned for season 5, and we can't wait to get stuck into Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), and Sutton's (Meghann Fahy of "The White Lotus") shenanigans and love triangles once again.
The hit show saw the trio of best friends who worked at Scarlet Magazine overcome many comedic mishaps – like when Sutton put $800 of alcohol and illegal drugs on her company card at a bar to keep an influencer happy – but the show also tackled many important issues, like systemic racism, trans and women's rights, and breast cancer awareness.
The series may have already aired across the pond two years ago, but we've been waiting with bated breath – and avoiding all those spoilers like the plague – for the upcoming season to arrive on our shores. Netflix previously aired seasons 1-4 of the comedy drama, but the streaming platform didn't announce any plans to release the final season in the UK. And, to add insult to injury, the series was taken off the streaming platform in March 2023.
But fear not, as season 5 of "The Bold Type" is now available to stream in the UK on BBC iPlayer. As per the synopsis on BBC Three, the fifth and final series of the show "showcases Jane attempting to navigate being a manager for the first time; Kat working on a new project with Adena and Sutton attempting to rebuild her life". But before we sink our teeth into the newest season, let's have a very "Bold Type" debrief in the fashion closet, and catch up on where season 4 left off.
Sutton and Richard got married, but forgot to speak about a very important factor: whether or not they want kids. It turns out that after Sutton's miscarriage, she realises that she wants to put her career first, whilst Richard has wanted a family ever since he can remember. Now, the trio are living with each other once again, and we can't wait to find out whether they can rebuild their careers at the publication once again.
