Miley Cyrus's Chanel Suit Made Me Rethink My Own Business Attire — I Need More Tweed!
Oscars weekend is in full swing, and Miley Cyrus is ready to get her glam on. The 26-year-old singer stepped out with husband Liam Hemsworth on Feb. 23 for the Chanel and Charles Finch preparty. She chose to honour the late designer Karl Lagerfeld from head-to-toe with her tweed Chanel outfit and matching accessories. Miley was one of many stars who paid their respects after Karl died, and she continued to do so at the Beverly Hills event.
"When I went to my fitting yesterday with Chanel I was wearing a pin he had given me when we had shot together just a couple of years ago," Miley told Women's Wear Daily. "I was wearing this jacket and he had put it on there; I had never taken it off before and I wore it going into the store and coming here tonight so this just feels full circle, and feels like an honour."
Miley wore a variety of Chanel jewellery, including a crystal-embellished brooch, which she wore as a hair pin. She paired her collection of bracelets and rings with a tweed Chanel suit from the line's Spring/Summer 2019 collection, and tied the whole look together with a pair of Stella McCartney heels.
