Dua Lipa's Style Evolution Includes Leather, Cutouts, and Ultra Naked Dresses

Dua Lipa's career is going from strength to strength, and her iconic style simply adds to her wealth of talent. Since the release of her debut album in 2017, featuring hit single "New Rules", Lipa has also been setting new style rules for what is expected of a pop star. From the first glimpse of Lipa as a fresh-faced 17-year-old at London Fashion Week to inspiring a Y2K style renaissance, she has been using fashion to express herself for years.

On stage, Lipa's fondness of Mugler catsuits and Valentino co-ords have been wowing us since she burst onto our radar. And with her recent collaboration with Italian fashion house, Versace, we've got so many stunning looks to add to our fashion mood boards. This year has also seen the singer be one of four co-chairs for the 2023 Met Gala, heading up the event alongside Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel, and Roger Federer – which is undoubtedly a career high in the fashion stakes.

Lipa opted for a Halloween-inspired outfit on 30 Oct. when she arrived at a cocktail reception celebrating "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig as AFI Guest Artistic Director. Debuting her new red hair for the first time outside of her social media, she rocked a black leather maxi shirt dress with collar, teamed with blood red heels. The "Dance The Night Away" singer had teased her new fiery hair colour two weeks earlier after deleting her Instagram grid, and posting a shot with the caption "Miss Me?" leading fans to speculate she was a teasing a new album – and a new fashion era.
