Dua Lipa Goes Braless In Totally Sheer Naked Dress for "Barbie" Premiere
Can we all take a moment in honour of Dua Lipa's latest look? The singer arrived at the "Barbie" premiere in Los Angeles on 9 July glistening in a jewel-encrusted chainmail Bottega Veneta dress. Lipa opted to go braless in the see-through number, exposing her thong underneath, while the scoop neckline and fitted slip design fell effortlessly to the floor. It's been pretty hard to upstage lead actor Margot Robbie's press tour looks as she has been emulating costumes from the iconic doll's back catalogue, but Lipa did a pretty good job of stealing the limelight on the pink carpet.
Lipa, who stars as a mermaid Barbie in the film, which is released on 21 July, let her naked dress do all the talking and kept her accessories minimal. She added silver metallic pointed heels, hoop earrings, and a single-strand diamond necklace to further shine from head to foot. Her hair was kept in a middle parting with added volume, her makeup consisted of bronze eyeshadow and fluffy eyebrows, and she modelled a Barbiecore pink French manicure.
Lipa has been embracing the Barbiecore trend of late and getting into the zone. Not only has she also released her track "Dance The Night Away" on the official "Barbie" album, but she posted a carousel of photos on Instagram prior to the LA premiere wearing a crushed velvet pink minidress and thigh-high pink boots, with the caption "come on barbie let's go party".
