Dua Lipa Celebrates Her Birthday in Tiny Gucci Bralette, and Her Look Is So '90s
Dua Lipa is a woman after our own heart. If she's not heading up the biggest movie of the year (it's "Barbie" fyi, if you've been living under a rock) with a stellar single, and working on a brand new album, she's giving us plenty of fashion envy with her street and red carpet style.
And it seems that her fashion streak is continuing for her birthday celebrations, in which the singer welcomed her 28th birthday on 22 August in an enviable 90s look. Posing for some stunning pictures with her friend and fellow model Sarah Lysander, Lipa wore a tiny Gucci mesh bralette. Pairing the statement lingerie with a Y2K-esque mesh bolero, the star added some sparkle with diamanté lilac slacks. Going for the true "rave" look, the fashion icon added a slew of pearl and silver chokers alongside larger-than-life red sunglasses, along with a silver micro bag.
Under Lysander's Instagram carousel, which was uploaded on 23 August, the model wrote: "Rave review: 10/10, swipe to see the best way to recover 🧊 Happy birthday to my life wife 🍯". The pair seemed to party it up at Ibiza's legendary DC-10 club alongside the birthday girl's sister, Rina Lipa. Rina equally dazzled in a chainmail cutout dress with a matching silver smokey eye, while Lynsander also channelled the 90s trend in a black corset top and low-waist jeans.
