Levi's was one of the first companies to donate to HIV/AIDS causes in 1982, as well as the first Fortune 500 company to offer full medical benefits to unmarried domestic partners of employees. The brand also filed a brief with the California Supreme Court supporting same-sex marriage in 2007. In the past two years, 100 percent of the net proceeds of Levi's Pride collection were donated to the Harvey Milk Foundation, Stonewall Community Foundation, and OutRight Action International. As a queer-owned business, Otherwild celebrates feminism and LGBTQ+ pride year-round. Throughout the year, the brand donates money from the sales of specific products to a variety of LGBTQ+-friendly organisations, including The National Centre for Transgender Equality and The Lesbian Herstory Archives.
