One of my 2020 goals is to make my wardrobe more comfortable. While I'm always on the hunt for versatile and stylish pieces, if they're not comfy enough to last long days and what seems like even longer commutes, what's the point? One item I find myself searching for is a pair of good pants; ones that I can easily rock every day, especially to the office. On a recent shopping trip at Old Navy, I stumbled upon these Mid-Rise Pull-On Straight Pants ($35), which honestly, can be easy to miss. From a distance they don't look like anything special, but the super-soft material sold me.

Ever since I purchased them, I can't stop telling my coworkers and friends how impressed I am by the quality. Not only do they feel nice, but they look great, too. They're so flattering and hit me in all the right places. My favourite feature is the elastic waistband. I literally put them on and take them off like sweatpants and there's no fuss having to deal with zippers or buttons. That said though, you can't even tell they have an elastic waist band because it is only in the back, so they look much more expensive. At just $35, how can you say no?! The affordable price and quality make these a win-win.

I prefer the straight-leg silhouette, but if you're into skinnies then you'll want to check out these Mid-Rise Pixie Ankle Pants ($32, originally $40) that were just re-released with an upgraded design. The bestsellers come in a wide variety of colours and sizes range from plus to tall and even petite choices. So, what are you waiting for? Keep reading to shop some our favourites and finally get a pair of work pants you won't hate.
