How to Support World Blood Donor Day on June 14

Only three out of 100 people in the U.S donate blood, yet every two seconds someone needs it, according to the American Red Cross. Fewer people are donating blood yearly, and you can help change that by scheduling a donation on World Blood Donor Day (it's June 14). By donating blood you'll help those battling cancer, accident victims, and patients fighting life-threatening conditions. Find a location and make an appointment and read up on preparing to give blood if it's your first time.
