Eat the Doughnut

Colleen writes in the caption: "Fitbits can be a great reminder to move your body in a way that makes you feel amazing! But, sometimes this gentle reminder can turn it a straight up obsession! It did for me. I used the calorie burn displayed across my wrist as the marker for how much I could eat in a day for a solid four years . . . Taking the Fitbit off was something I had thought of doing — I knew I needed to in order to truly find freedom with food . . . After a while I no longer based my food choices off of a number, I was able to listen to my body. I felt so confident, relaxed, and way more nourished since I was actually listening to my body NOT a bracelet!"
