I've said it hundreds of times already, but the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 ($120) is the best running shoe I've ever worn. It's lightweight, supportive, and is great for short and long runs alike. If the fitness enthusiast in your life loves to run or is ready to tackle their first 5K, I highly recommend getting this shoe for them. They'll thank you later.
