I'm one of those people that believes that during fall, pumpkin belongs in all the foods. Empanadas, soups, pies, lattes, cookies, and so much more — but especially milkshakes. When I want to switch it up from the classic pumpkin pie (especially on those slightly warmer fall days), I'll make this pumpkin milkshake instead. The cosy flavours combined with the cool and refreshing consistency of the drink hits all the right spots, and we have a feeling it would fit perfectly on the menu at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

Making the drink can be as easy as combining the standard milkshake ingredients with some pumpkin and the right spices, but this recipe from Chowhound makes it even richer. I love the milkshake recipe as it is, but I decided to jazz up the embellishments a little bit, mostly because I believe in putting sprinkles on all my desserts, but you can easily just enjoy this as a milkshake with no frills. It will be just as delicious. I recommend blending one of these up to enjoy while watching your favourite thriller movie on the couch!
