This Harry Potter Bedroom Makeover Will Actually Blow Your Mind

The DIY wizard used solid grey and black paint and a picture frame from Walmart to trace grout lines for a realistic stone wall pattern. To get an even edgier look, the designer mixed the black and grey paint together to apply dark stains on the stone walls.

To get the mesmerising cloudy moon effect on the ceiling, the designer applied a base coating of black paint and then acrylic paint using a sponge to create the whimsical night sky.

The crafty designer purchased old books and printed out book spines from online to create antique decor pieces for the shelf wall. (The white owl on top was an added bonus!)

These Harry Potter potion bottles were made using free printables.

To re-create the appearance of melting candles, the designer used paper towels, toilet paper rolls, hot glue, and white paint. See the epic finished look ahead.
