Just when I think I've smelled it all, Ardent goes and drops a collection of cereal scented candles. Physically, I'm on my third load of laundry, but mentally, I'm wearing mismatched pajamas and sitting crisscross applesauce in my family living room watching cartoons on a Saturday morning with a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. The line features soy wax candles that look and smell like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cap'n Crunch, Fruit Loops, and Cookie Crisp. Hungry yet?
Not only do these candles smell delicious, but they're poured in reusable Pyrex glassware! Once the candle is finished, gently remove the spoon and freeze the glassware for 30 minutes (note: the wax must be burned all the down). Then, carefully scrape out the wicks and any wax residue. Be sure to thoroughly wash both the glassware and spoon with soap and water before enjoying a bowl of berry crunch or chocolate puffs. Friends of Toucan Sam will feel right at home with the Fruit Loops Candle ($40). While this colourful soy wax blend may look like a real bowl of Fruit Loops cereal, it's unfortunately not edible.
Cookie Time Candle
This Cookie Time Candle ($40) goes out to all the kids who convinced their parents that eating chocolate chip cookies in a bowl of milk for breakfast wasn't a bad idea.
