Being a young adult living in New York City means spending every last dollar of my paycheck on overpriced cocktails, uneconomical taxi rides, inflated rent, and $18 salads. The last thing I want to do is spend money on things I don't necessarily need to survive — yes, rooftop cocktails are necessary to survive the city in the Summer, thank you very much — and that included a duvet cover.
