Jimmy Fallon Responds to President Trump's Tweets Monologue

Jimmy Fallon Addresses Trump's Tweets: "Shouldn't He Have More Important Things to Do?"

In a rare move, Jimmy Fallon fired back at President Donald Trump during his Tonight Show monologue after receiving direct criticism from the president through Twitter. Trump accused the 43-year-old comedian of "whimpering" and told him to "be a man" after Fallon expressed regrets over the president's previous visit to The Tonight Show.

Fallon joked that after seeing the president's tweets, he doesn't think Melania Trump's antibullying campaign is working. He also revealed that at first he wanted to immediately respond to Trump's critique but decided to refrain.

"I had more important things to do," Fallon said during his monologue. "But then I thought, 'Wait, shouldn't he have more important things to do?'"

In response to Trump's criticism, Fallon made a donation to RAICES, or the Refugee and Immigrant Centre For Education and Legal Services, in the president's name. The heat did not stop there. Fallon continued to take jabs at Trump and his administration for the remainder of his monologue. Above, watch the monologue in full and see Fallon's response for yourself.
