Charlie's Colorforms City Netflix Show

This New Netflix Series From the Creators of Daniel Tiger and Super Why! Is Freakin’ Adorable

If your preschooler is obsessed with shows like Blue's Clues, Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood, and SUPER WHY!, you and your kids are in for a treat thanks to Netflix. Its latest original series release for Netflix Kids and Family is the colorful and upbeat Charlie's Colorforms City, which aims to help toddlers and kids up to around age 7 learn to engage in creative problem-solving and storytelling through short, 11-minute episodes.

The series is inspired by the Colorforms brand, which has been around since 1951 and features colorful games, books, and play sets that encourage "creative thinking, self-expression, and experimenting through story-based play." In the show, kids will see the same kinds of concepts brought to life through Charlie, a character who is made from the blocks that make up the Colorforms brand logo. Through his adventures with his friends, young children will grow their imaginations and explore big ideas in a stripped down way, mostly through colours and shapes.
