Costco Pumpkin Pie

FYI, Costco Sells a MASSIVE Pumpkin Pie That's Nearly 4 Pounds and Only $6

Costco's $5 rotisserie chicken may have a devoted fanbase among shoppers, but once Fall rolls around, a certain seasonal item snatches that spotlight away from the affordable poultry's greasy, salt-covered grasp: the pumpkin pie. As soon as these fresh-baked masterpieces hit shelves ahead of the holidays, Costco customers are sent into a full-on frenzy, snatching up the positively enormous pies, which measure an entire foot in diameter and weigh a whopping 58 ounces, or 3.62 pounds. Yep, these things could feed your entire family at Thanksgiving (and maybe even the in-laws, too).

Oh, and we almost forgot to mention a detail that's perhaps even more of a selling point than the size of these pies: their dirt-cheap price. In true Costco fashion, the popular pumpkin pies sell for just $6 a pop, though it looks like some locations have kicked the price up to $8 this year, for whatever reason. Regardless of this slight uptick in price, there's no denying that these pies are still a steal — especially considering how they save you the hassle of baking a real one from scratch.

I know, I know, Costco's ginormous pumpkin-flavoured pies are nothing new to shoppers who frequent the wholesale retailer, as they've been around for years and even have a Facebook page dedicated to tracking their annual reappearance. But we just wanted to send out a quick reminder of their glorious existence for those lazy pie-lovers who need an excuse to opt out of buying cans of pumpkin puree before Thanksgiving this year. You can thank us later.
