Even While Saving the Planet, Elastigirl Has to Find Her Kid's Shoes, Because Mom Life Never Stops

"Mom, where are my shoes?" "Mom, I can't find my backpack!" "Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, MOM!"

Sound familiar? Yeah, to us, too. No matter how we try to set our kids up for organisational success, it seems that even the most basic of items are constantly missing, and it doesn't matter what we're in the middle of when a lost shoe crisis ensues — our kids need their missing belongings now and know that mom is the only one who will be able to help.

In the latest TV trailer for The Incredibles 2, which honours Elastigirl for Mother's Day, even Helen Parr, who is off on a wild and dangerous motorcycle chase, isn't spared from mom life. While riding along billboards and buildings, she gets a call from her son, Dash, in which he claims he "can't find his high-tops." Adding the kicker, "Dad can't find them either, but he won't call you and ask, so I am!"

Even though you can hear Mr. Incredible yell in the background, "Do NOT call your mother!" Elastigirl's response of "Dash, honey, can't talk right now, but look under your bed, OK?" proves that even while saving the world, she knows she can't ever stop being a mom.
