You’re Gonna Want to Book a Summer Disney Trip to Catch This Limited Lion King Celebration
Grab your Disney crew and schedule a Summer trip, because The Lion King is hitting Disneyland in a special way. According to the Disney Parks Blog, California Adventure will "come alive with a vibrant celebration" of the film in anticipation of the live-action reboot's release in July.
"Throughout the day, a travelling troupe of storytellers will arrive to celebrate The Lion King in story, song, and dance, inviting everyone to join in," Disney Parks Blog reads. "The fun continues with music, colourful craft activities, and more, honouring the spirit of Africa."
Mark your calendars for July 19 to catch The Lion King in theatres, then get to Disneyland to celebrate Timon and Pumbaa-style. More details are to come about the celebration, but we do know that it will only occur in the park for a limited time over the Summer months, so catch it while you can!
