Watch Jill Biden's Puppy Bowl PSA With Dogs Champ and Major

Jill Biden Makes a Necessary Face Mask PSA — With Help From Champ and Major!

Jill Biden is making a special appearance during this year's Puppy Bowl — and she'll have first dogs Champ and Major by her side for the occasion! The first lady will star in a pre-taped public service announcement to air during the annual event, which kicks off this Sunday at 2 p.m. EST, shortly before the Super Bowl. In the video, seen above, Jill sits with her two German Shepherds in front of a fireplace in the White House and reminds viewers about the importance of wearing a face mask amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"For a lot of us during this pandemic, our pets have been such a source of joy and comfort — and maybe a bark or two on a video conference," she jokes as her dogs sprawl out on the carpet beside her. "We owe it to them to keep ourselves healthy, so please keep wearing your mask, even when you're out walking your dog."

This isn't Major's first time in the spotlight this year. Just last month, he was welcomed as the first rescue dog in the White House with his very own "indoguration" celebration, which took place three days before his human dad was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. Here's to hoping we continue getting even more glimpses into Champ and Major's life in their new home the next four years!
