Aquarius (20 Jan.-18 Feb.) 2023 Horoscope

This year, you'll say goodbye to Saturn, your planetary ruler, which has spent the past two and a half years in your sign, Aquarius. But before Saturn shifts into Pisces on 7 March, it'll spend your birthday season in your sign, along with the sun and Mercury. You may feel like you're going through a radical rebirth, where all of your visions, ideas, and aspirations from the past two years compile into one big bang. You may manifest a long-held dream in the first quarter of 2023 due to Saturn's final stretch in your sign. And once you do, you should celebrate! You've worked on this project or vision for most of this decade, and it's now brilliantly coming together.

Jupiter, the planet of abundance, spends part of the year in Aries and the other part in Taurus. This fire-earth dynamic will have you reflecting on your communication patterns (during Jupiter's transit in Aries until 16 May) and on your family and past (during Jupiter's transit in Taurus starting 16 May). These are two areas of your life where people tend to view you as elusive or inconsistent, and since Jupiter is the planet of fortune, you'll attract more luck and prosperity in your life in 2023 when you dare to face these themes head-on rather than being ambivalent. Jupiter in Aries will help you confidently name and express your needs instead of always prioritising the needs of the collective. Schedule frequent time for self-care during the first five months of the year — take yourself on dates, and treat yourself like royalty. Once Jupiter shifts into Taurus and activates your domestic sector, you may feel called to connect with your inner child through playing in nature and picking up a hobby. Saturn, your planetary ruler, will amplify such sensations once it enters Pisces on 7 March and activates your sector of security for the next two and a half years. Money won't matter to you as much in the conventional sense; you'll be focussed on the type of wealth that can't be quantified: spiritual wealth and divine health.

Keep an eye out for Venus's retrograde in Leo, which begins on 22 July and ends 3 Sept. Your sector of partnership and marriage is activated by this transit, which means there may be some speed bumps you have to navigate in the second half of the year, particularly if either you or your partner(s) feel neglected or taken for granted. Your pride and ego may cause drama around this time, even if you try your best to "stay cool." The most healing thing to do during this retrograde is to admit that you do have emotions, you do get passionate, and you do get angry. There's no benefit to coming across as someone who doesn't care; in doing so, you end up isolating yourself from both yourself and from others. Fortunately, the new-moon solar eclipse in Libra on 14 Oct. activates your sector of expansion, and you're likely to enter the final quarter of 2023 feeling inspired, realigned, and ready for a fresh start.
