As for photo-ready makeup that won't budge, Bartlett favours the Perfect Canvas Hydra Lock Airbrush Foundation ($15 each). She recommends using a few light layers to make it look as natural as possible. "You can even forgo the airbrush and apply a bit with a beauty blender for fantastic coverage and touch-ups throughout the day," Barlett said.

You know that annoying, makeup-ruining smudge by your nose that happens where your sunglasses meet your face? According to Barlett, the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer ($20, originally $24) makes that problem ancient history. "It's completely full-coverage but has a weightless feel," she said. "It also has 24-hour wear and is water and transfer resistant."

Bartlett opts to use the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Flash Cat Eye Waterproof Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner ($8) to make sure liner stays put through the heat and contact with sunglasses. "I wiggle the liquid liner at the root of the lash and create a small wing following the lash line," she said. "The waterproof formula makes sure your eyes won't smudge."

Even on days when you'd rather skip foundation, like when you're headed to the beach, Bartlett recommends the Huda Beauty Tantour Contour and Bronzer Cream ($30). "It carves out cheekbones and is water resistant and sweat-proof – so no one will know you're wearing makeup."
NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
