I'll cut to the chase: the blunt bob is the hottest Summer hair trend of 2019, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere any time soon. Celebrities like Mandy Moore, Hailey Bieber, Charlize Theron, and Khloe Kardashian have given the edgy and sleek haircut a lot of love — and it looks like Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again star Lily James just hopped on board the bob train.
"Chopped it off," James captioned her Instagram post revealing her new look on Thursday. James also gave kudos to her hairdresser John MacPherson and hairstylist Ben Skervin, who shared some gorgeous pics of her new cut. In addition to chopping her hair off, James also dyed it bright blonde, making the sharp edges of the already chic cut stand out even more. While more than a few celebrities have proven that the blunt bob is here to stay, James's new look might have just convinced me to make a hair appointment of my own.
