Ariana Grande and "Drag Race" Star Gottmik Are My New Favourite Beauty Duo

Long-lost friends Ariana Grande and Gottmik met for the first time in a video shared to R.e.m. Beauty's YouTube account on March 1, and the silliness levels are off the charts. In the first episode of "Wingin' It," Grande, who's been friends with Gottmik online for years, asks the "RuPaul's Drag Race" superstar to do her makeup using products exclusively from her R.e.m. Beauty line. "He's coming. I'm so nervous," Grande says just before Gottmik steps into the frame in a full face of makeup and a wig cap. "I've been such a fan of yours for such a long time," she adds.
"I'm sorry. I'm just really enjoying myself."
At the beginning of the video, while jokingly filming a standard beauty-YouTuber intro, Grande can't help but cry-laugh. "You're like actually crying," Gottmik says, laughing. "I'm literally going to cry too." After Grande insists that he "take the creative reins," Gottmik throws on a high-ponytail wig and gets to work creating a smoky winged-eyeshadow look on the giggly singer. "I'm sorry. I'm just really enjoying myself," Grande says with a laugh as she pauses to smile between every step of the beauty routine.
Once Gottmik is finished with her eyes, Grande excitedly reaches for her favourite lip-stain marker, swearing when the pigment accidentally bleeds too heavily onto her lips. "The f*cking pigment that just came out," Grande says before Gottmik jokes, "It's giving berry-eater." Describing her favourite products in the collection, Grande adds, "They're very yummy and plumping, and I love them. I love every shade . . . I [also] like lip stains because they don't go anywhere."
