Hailey Bieber's Reverse Eyeliner at Coachella Is Y2K Perfection

As expected, trends of the early aughts were out in full force for the first weekend of Coachella. On Friday, Hailey Bieber was one of many at the festival in Y2K-inspired beauty, but she added a modern twist. While her cropped tank and baggy jeans made for a casual outfit, she opted for a fun, striking beauty look. The Rhode Beauty founder offered a close-up of her makeup on TikTok and Instagram, which consisted of frosted blue eyeshadow, heavy eyeliner, and overlined lips with an ultraglossy finish.
Instead of lining Bieber's eyes the traditional way, celebrity makeup artist Leah Darcy went with the popular "reverse eyeliner" trend, applying the metallic blue liner only to the bottom lash line for a dramatic, sultry finish. She also added specks of glitter on the lid and a silver shimmer on the inner corners.
Aside from the eyes and lips, Darcy kept the rest simple with minimal face makeup and natural, fluffed-out brows. Bieber really committed to the Y2K aesthetic, as celebrity hairstylist Irinel de León rounded out her look with her signature face-framing baby braids.
