Lizzo's Aura Nails Bring the Good Vibes

Lizzo's latest nail-art design is so cheery, it'll make you forget this past mercury retrograde. On May 17, the singer's go-to manicurist Eri Ishizu posted a picture of the star getting ready to shoot a new Yitty campaign. Alongside a colourful eyeshadow look and lots of '90s-inspired jewellery, Lizzo was wearing a gorgeous set of aura nails.

To achieve the trend, the singer's nails were filed into a long stiletto shape. For the base colour, each finger was painted a light pink shade, and a diffused hot pink circle was added to the middle of each nail to create the "aura" effect. A clear topcoat finished the look for a simple, yet striking manicure.

Aura nails quickly became a fan-favourite for festival season, but the trend is perfect for year-round wear. While it often involves bright colours like the neon pink worn by Lizzo, other popular combinations included everything from brown and purple to black and red. The manicure is extremely versatile, allowing you to customise it to your preferences as needed.
