A big mac with a side of french tips? Yes, McDonald's first ever beauty collaboration is here, and it encompasses all of your fast-food dreams. Nails Inc X McDonald's is a four piece collection that includes two new shades, a set of press on nails, an array of branded stickers (milkshake, anyone?) and a gold heart-flecked top coat. It pushes kitsch to a whole new level but the question is are we lovin' it?!
I tried it out with two-tone french tips in the new shades Gotta Ketchup, a bright red, and Big Mac Please, a soft burger bun-inspired brown. My McDonald's mani was adorned with the iconic M logo, large fries, a big mac and the tagline "I'm Lovin' It" in stickers carefully applied to the middle of my nails. To finish, we added strategically placed gold hearts to the middle finger to amp up our love for Happy Meals.

My nails were a lot of fun and definitely a conversation starter. I mean, who can resist chatting about your favourite McDonald's items — a double cheeseburger if you're wondering — when considering your next nail purchase? The two new shades are actually quite beautiful and I hope both will stay in the collection once this collaboration sells out, which I think will happen very quickly.
Big Mac Please is the perfect hue for the hot chocolate and cashmere manicure trend that we've been seeing on celebrities like Blake Lively. And Gotta Ketchup is a very pretty red that's ideal for someone who wants to try out the red nail theory in a slightly softer shade.

The duo consists of two mini polishes in Gotta Ketchup and Big Mac Please as well as 80 stickers.

Nails Inc X McDonald's I'm Lovin' It Gold Heart Nail Topper (£9)
This is a clear top coat which contains gold foil heart pieces. I recommend using a cuticle pusher to place the hearts where you want them rather than using directly from the brush.
Nails Inc X McDonald's I Speak French Press On Nails (£7)
This pack contains 30 artificial almond shape french tips nails, eight of which feature the embossed french fries image.
How Many Different Ways Can You Wear the Nails Inc X McDonalds Collection?
There are literally hundreds of ways to wear the collaboration. You can go for full red nails and a few individual stickers, clear nails with the gold hearts all over, two-tone french tips, or even just a few stickers over your favourite polish. The combinations are endless and the key to this collection is all about having fun so the crazier, the better.

What's Worth Noting
Although the two new shades are great as standalone colours, the branded stickers and press on nails are not going to be something you will wear over and over again. It will have its beauty moment for sure, but I can't see it becoming a timeless look that will last beyond its sell-by date.
