For the 2018 Met Gala's theme of "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination," Collins's makeup look was inspired by the dark arts. Her makeup artist Fiona Stiles wanted to explore the gothic angle of the theme, using a bevy of Lancôme products and 3D crystals to represent celestial tears.
