Masquerade Mask

That old feather boa from your dance recital days and some pretty costume jewellery can come in handy. Use them and some savvy makeup skills to turn yourself into a masquerade beauty for Halloween — even if you don't have a mask — using a liquid eyeliner. Your mask design doesn't need to be perfect, but pulling up a picture of one that you'll want to mimic as a guide is helpful.

Makeup artist Regan suggests practicing how to draw some lowercase "Q's" as if you were writing in cursive, as that's essentially what the mask is made out of. Start the mask in the centre of your forehead in between your brows and work your way out to help to make both sides (on either side of your eyebrow) symmetrical.

Top off the look with baby pink blush on the apples of the cheeks and a coordinating lip gloss on your pout.
