Just months after totally revamping her revamping her shampoos and conditioners, hairstylist Jen Atkin introduces a new hair-care product into the range: the Ouai Detox Shampoo (£24).
The clarifying formula features apple cider vinegar, which is a classic deep-cleaning, scalp-soothing ingredient (thanks to its antimicrobial properties) that helps make your scalp and hair both squeaky clean and super shiny. It also contains hydrolysed keratin (to reduce frizz), and chelating agents, which help remove any heavy metals, minerals, and chlorine in hard water that can damage your hair — think of it like a hard-water filter in a bottle. Unlike the rest of the shampoo/conditioner range, the Detox Shampoo features Ouai's Melrose Place scent, which is a little sweet (like berries), a little effervescent (thanks to champagne notes), and a little bit musky (that would be the amber, sandalwood, and white musk).
