Rosalía's Nail and Makeup Collection With MAC Is Inspired By "Radical and Extreme Femininity"

Rosalía has made a name for herself as an international superstar with her unique flamenco-pop and urban sound, and now, she's ready to leave her mark on the beauty industry as MAC Viva Glam Ambassador. At its core, the MAC Viva Glam mission is to empower and inspire self-expression, creativity, and individuality — all traits Rosalía embodies perfectly.
As an ambassador, last year the artist worked with MAC to create a bold red lip colour that represents her as a dynamic feminist and incorporates that same passionate and electric flair that she's known for in her music. The result was a limited-edition Matte Red Lipstick Viva Glam 26 (now discontinued). "I have always been very excited about red, it's one of my favourite colours," Rosalía told POPSUGAR at the time. "It represents strength and Flamenco culture. Flamenco has always been connected to red and I have always loved Ruby Woo, it's such a big reference for me all these years."
But that lipstick launch was only the beginning. On 1 Oct., the singer is also releasing her very own limited-edition makeup and nail collection with the brand called Aute Cuture Starring Rosalía Collection. In the line are six nail polishes and two nail embellishments inspired by Rosalía's inventive nail style. Keep reading to see each product — and the significance behind them — ahead.
When it comes to the polishes, those too hold special meaning for the star. "They're a symbol of power and strength — of radical and extreme femininity," Rosalía said in a press release describing why her nails are important to her.
The shades include a variety of reds and mauve-pinks, as well as a gold glitter hue, and the adornments are 3D crystals that can make any old manicure look red carpet ready in seconds.
The makeup products in the line are for lips, eyes, and face. There are eight lipsticks in total (four liquid and four sticks), a 10-shade eyeshadow palette, and a four-pan highlighter. All of which are designed to allow you to recreate Rosalía's luminous glow.
